What visa do Indians need for the UK? Is it the same as Schengen?
The UK is NOT part of the Schengen area. You need a UK Standard Visitor Visa, applied through VFS Global (UK visa centers are available in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, etc.). The visa fee is approximately ₹12,500. Processing takes 3–5 weeks. Holiday Vibez provides complete documentation support — hotel bookings, itinerary, cover letter, and financial statements. Apply at least 6 weeks before travel.
What is the best time to visit London and Scotland?
May to September is the ideal time. June–August has long daylight (up to 18 hours in Scotland!), ideal for Highland exploration. July–August is peak season. September is wonderful — fewer crowds, beautiful autumnal colours in Scotland, and comfortable temperatures. Avoid December–February for the Highlands (very cold, limited daylight, some roads may be icy). London is great year-round.
What currency does the UK use? Can I use my Indian card?
The UK uses British Pounds (GBP) — not Euros. We recommend loading a Forex card with GBP from India. Cards are accepted everywhere in the UK. Carry GBP 200–400 in cash for tips, markets, and smaller shops. Avoid airport money exchange (poor rates). Get your GBP sorted before departure at Thomas Cook or BookMyForex.
Is this tour suitable for families with children?

Is this the same as a Schengen Europe tour? Do I need separate visas?
No — this is a UK-only package. You only need one visa (UK Standard Visitor Visa). The UK left the EU, so a Schengen visa is NOT valid here.
