What visa do I need for France?
You need a Schengen tourist visa applied through the French consulate. France is your main destination so you apply to the VFS Global French visa center. Processing takes 10–15 working days. Holiday Vibez provides complete documentation support — hotel bookings, cover letter, itinerary, and flight bookings for the application. The government visa fee is approximately ₹7,500 (not included in package). Apply 4–6 weeks before travel.
Is Monaco a separate country? Do I need a separate visa?
Yes, Monaco is an independent principality. However, it operates within the French border and a Schengen visa covers entry. You will not need a separate Monaco visa with a valid French Schengen visa. The drive from Nice to Monaco is only 20 minutes — our full-day Monaco excursion is included in the package price.
When is the best time to visit Paris and the French Riviera?
April–October is ideal. Paris in spring (April–May) is magical with mild weather and blooming gardens at Versailles. The French Riviera is at its best from June to September — warm enough to enjoy the beaches and outdoor cafes. July–August is peak season (busiest and most expensive). September is our favourite — Paris is less crowded, the Riviera is still warm, and prices are lower. Avoid December–February for the Riviera unless you prefer quieter off-season visits.
Is this package good for a honeymoon?
Absolutely — this is one of the most romantic itineraries in the world! Paris is the world’s most romantic city and the French Riviera is where international jet-setters go for romance. We offer complimentary romantic upgrades for honeymooners on request — rose petals, anniversary cake, and room upgrades (subject to availability). What currency should I carry?
France and Monaco both use Euros (EUR). We recommend loading a Forex card with Euros from Thomas Cook or BookMyForex in India. Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Carry EUR 300–500 in cash for tips, local markets, and smaller shops. Monaco is extremely expensive — budget extra EUR 50–100 per person for meals and experiences there.
