Frequently Asked Questions
Do Indians need a visa for Thailand? +
No! Indian nationals enjoy visa-free entry to Thailand for up to 30 days as of 2024. You only need a valid Indian passport (minimum 6 months validity), a return ticket and proof of accommodation. No visa fee, no advance application β just arrive at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang Airport and go through immigration.
What is the "Marble Temple" in the itinerary? +
The Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit) is one of Bangkok's finest temples, also called the Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram Temple. Built in 1899 from pure Italian Carrara marble, it combines European and Thai architectural elements beautifully. The temple houses 52 Buddha images and a picturesque canal surrounding the complex β a favourite for photography.
What is the Coral Island tour like? +
Koh Larn (Coral Island) is 7.5 km off Pattaya β a 20-minute speed boat ride away. The island has 6 beaches with turquoise waters and coral reefs. The SIC speed boat tour includes a seafood lunch at the island. Optional water sports (jet ski, parasailing, banana boat, sea walker) are at own cost. It's one of the best beach days you'll have in Southeast Asia.
Which airport should we fly into? +
Bangkok has two airports: Suvarnabhumi (BKK) β larger, handles most international flights including Air India, IndiGo & Thai Airways; and Don Mueang (DMK) β handles budget carriers like AirAsia & Nok Air. Both are included in the package. Specify which airport at booking and we arrange your private transfer accordingly.
What is SIC and how does it work? +
SIC (Seat in Coach) means you share a comfortable air-conditioned coach with other tourists for the city tour and Coral Island trip. It's well-organized β hotel pick-ups are done on a set schedule. Airport transfers are private β you get a personal vehicle at arrival and departure. If you want all tours private, we can arrange that at an additional cost.
What is the best time to visit Bangkok & Pattaya? +
Best time: November to February β cool, dry weather (25β32Β°C), perfect for temples and beaches. MarchβMay is hot (35β40Β°C) but still popular. JuneβOctober is rainy season β expect afternoon showers, though tours generally still run. Avoid Thai New Year (Songkran, mid-April) if you dislike water fights on the streets!
