Frequently Asked Questions
Is the desert safari really as thrilling as people say?
Yes — consistently. Dune bashing is the most surprising experience for first-time visitors: you expect something mild and discover something genuinely extreme. The 4WD Land Cruisers driven by professional Emirati drivers slide sideways up the face of a 30m sand dune, pivot at the crest, and plunge down the other side at speed — at moments it feels like a rollercoaster with no track. Most travellers describe it as the most exhilarating experience of their Dubai trip, including those who have done Aquaventure and the Burj Khalifa. The transition from the dune bashing intensity to the complete peace of the Bedouin camp — the fire, the Arabic coffee, the camel ride at sunset — makes it one of the most varied 4-hour experiences available anywhere.
Is ₹46,000 genuinely good value for Dubai?
Yes — this is our most affordable Dubai package and represents outstanding value. The Desert Safari alone (dune bashing + Bedouin camp + BBQ dinner) costs AED 200–300 (approximately ₹4,000–6,000) per person if booked separately in Dubai. The Burj Khalifa ticket is AED 130–200 (₹2,500–4,000). The Dhow Cruise dinner is AED 120–150 (₹2,300–3,000). Just these three elements total ₹9,000–13,000 per person in Dubai. The package bundles all of this with 3 nights accommodation, return flights from India, transfers, and additional sightseeing for ₹46,000 total. The budget hotel keeps costs down without affecting the quality of the experiences — you spend almost no time in the hotel. This is a genuine first-international-trip Dubai package that delivers the complete experience.
Is this package suitable for solo travellers?
Yes — the Budget Dubai City Break is one of the best-value solo travel packages in our Dubai range. Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world for solo travellers of any gender. The desert safari is a group activity (typically 6–12 people per 4WD convoy), which is great for solo travellers to meet other tourists. The city attractions — Gold Souk, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, JBR Beach — are all completely manageable solo. All transfers are included. We add a small solo supplement for the private hotel room, which we can discuss when you enquire. Many of our 98 reviewers booked this package solo, particularly young professionals making their first international trip.
Can we upgrade this to a private desert safari?
Yes — the standard package includes a shared group desert safari (you will be with other tourists in a convoy of 4WDs). A private upgrade (your own Land Cruiser, private camp area, premium BBQ menu, and more personalised experience) adds approximately ₹3,000–5,000 per person and can be arranged at the time of enquiry. The private upgrade is particularly recommended for couples, families with young children who want a slower pace, and senior travellers. The shared safari is excellent value and plenty of fun — the group dynamic during dune bashing is actually part of the energy — but the private version gives you complete flexibility on timing and pace.
What is the difference between this and the Dubai City Explorer?
Both packages are 4 days and similarly priced at ₹46,000. The key difference is what Day 3 covers. The Dubai City Explorer uses Day 3 for the Palm Jumeirah, JBR Beach, and Dubai Marina — more city-focused sightseeing with an emphasis on Dubai’s waterfront. The Budget Dubai City Break uses Day 3 for the Desert Safari — dune bashing, camel riding, and the Bedouin camp. Choose the City Explorer if you want to see Dubai’s full coastal skyline and the Palm in detail. Choose the Budget City Break if you want the most exhilarating experience — the desert safari is consistently rated by travellers as the most memorable moment of a Dubai trip. Both include the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Gold Souk, and Dhow Cruise.

Chennai, Tamil Nadu — Solo First International Trip
October 2025
This was my first international trip, aged 26, going solo. I was nervous about travelling abroad alone for the first time. Holiday Vibez made every element completely simple — the airport pickup, the hotel location (central, walking distance to everything), and the WhatsApp number I could message at any hour. The Gold Souk on Day 1 was extraordinary — I had seen images but nothing prepares you for the physical reality of walking through a market where every surface is gold. The Dhow Cruise dinner on the Creek with the city lit on both sides was beautiful. But the Desert Safari on Day 3 was the moment that made the trip. I was in a Land Cruiser with 5 other tourists — a family from Mumbai and a couple from Bangalore. The dune bashing was the most terrifying and exhilarating thing I have ever done. Screaming alongside strangers as the car slid sideways down a sand dune at speed — by the end, we were all laughing and cheering together. ₹46,000 for all of this, including flights, is genuinely extraordinary value. I recommend it to every first-time traveller.

Madurai, Tamil Nadu — Budget Holiday
February 2026
We chose this package because we wanted to go to Dubai but had a limited budget. Many of our friends had said Dubai is too expensive. This package proved them wrong. We stayed in a clean, comfortable hotel in Deira — walking distance to the Gold Souk and the Creek. My wife spent 2 hours at the Gold Souk comparing designs and finally chose a necklace at about 12% below the price in Madurai for the same 22K gold. The Dhow Cruise that evening was genuinely romantic — traditional boat, buffet dinner, the Creek lit beautifully on both sides. The Burj Khalifa the next day — standing on Floor 124 looking down at the city — we had never seen anything from that height. The desert safari on Day 3: the dune bashing was completely beyond what we expected. My wife was screaming with fear and laughter simultaneously. The camel ride afterward, the BBQ dinner under the stars, the tanoura dancer spinning in the firelight — genuinely magical. For ₹46,000 all-inclusive, this is one of the best-value holidays available to Indian travellers.

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu — Young Couple
January 2026
We are both 28 and this was our first trip abroad as a couple. We looked at many Dubai packages and chose this one specifically because it included the desert safari — we had seen videos of dune bashing and wanted to experience it. It completely exceeded the videos. The 4WD cresting a dune and the driver pointing the nose directly down the 35-degree slope — you look at the sand coming at you through the windscreen and your stomach lurches exactly like a rollercoaster drop, except there is no rail. My wife grabbed my arm so hard she left marks. Then we did it 15 more times. The stars at the Bedouin camp that night — we live in Coimbatore, which has enough light pollution that we see perhaps 50 stars. In the desert we saw thousands. The Dubai Fountain the previous evening had been extraordinary — the scale of it, synchronized to music, with the Burj Khalifa above it lit gold. The desert and the fountain are the two moments of this trip I will describe to my children one day. Excellent package, excellent Holiday Vibez team.
