Pokhara is the starting point for many classic treks, from the gentle Ghorepani Poon Hill route to the demanding Annapurna Base Camp and Circuit. High-altitude treks are seasonal and physically challenging, so we plan them with acclimatisation, licensed guides and honest advice on fitness and weather.
Pokhara is a scenic six to seven hour drive from Kathmandu, or a short domestic flight. We arrange comfortable private transfers or flights depending on your preference and schedule.
Indians do not need a visa for Nepal. Travel on a valid Indian passport or Voter ID with no visa fee, and carry original ID plus a couple of passport photos for hotels and any local registration.
October to November and March to April give the clearest mountain reflections and reliable Sarangkot sunrises. The monsoon can cloud the peaks, though the lake and waterfalls are at their fullest.
