At around 1,600 metres, Sarangkot rises just above Pokhara and delivers one of Nepal's most accessible Himalayan panoramas. It is best known for sunrise, when the first light hits the Annapurnas, but the daytime views and adventure options make it a must on any Pokhara trip.

Sarangkot is a world-class paragliding site with tandem flights suitable for beginners, run by licensed local operators. Flights depend entirely on weather and wind and can be cancelled at short notice for safety, so we treat them as an optional add-on rather than a guarantee.
Sarangkot is a short 30 to 45 minute drive up from Pokhara Lakeside, with the last stretch on foot to the viewpoint. We arrange an early transfer so you are in position for sunrise.
Indians do not need a visa for Nepal. Enter on a valid passport or Voter ID with no visa fee, and carry original ID for your Pokhara hotel.
October to November and March to April give the clearest sunrises and the most reliable paragliding conditions. Mornings are cold at the top, so bring a warm layer. Mountain visibility depends on the weather, which we cannot guarantee.
