Muktinath Tour Packages — Sacred Mustang Shrine
A high Himalayan shrine sacred to Hindus and Buddhists alike
Muktinath is one of the Himalaya's most revered pilgrimage sites, a shrine at around 3,800 metres in the remote Mustang region, holy to both Hindus and Buddhists. Pilgrims come to bathe under its 108 water spouts, visit the temple of Vishnu and the ever-burning natural flame, and seek moksha in a landscape of stark, arid mountains. This is a high-altitude journey that requires reasonable fitness and time to acclimatise. Indian citizens need no visa for Nepal and travel on a passport or Voter ID. Holiday Vibez plans Muktinath honestly, with careful pacing and local guides.

About Muktinath
Muktinath, meaning place of liberation, is one of the 108 Divya Desam shrines of Vishnu and equally sacred to Buddhists, who know it as Chumig Gyatsa. Its remote Himalayan setting in Mustang gives the pilgrimage a genuine sense of journey and achievement.
Altitude & fitness — read honestly
Muktinath sits at around 3,800 metres, where the air is thin and altitude sickness is a real risk. We build in gradual ascent and rest, but the trip suits travellers in reasonable health. Those with heart or breathing conditions should consult a doctor first, and everyone should be prepared for cold, wind and basic mountain facilities.
How to reach Muktinath
The journey runs from Pokhara into Mustang, either by a scenic mountain flight to Jomsom or by road, followed by a further drive or short trek to the shrine. Mountain flights and roads are weather-dependent and can be delayed, so we build in buffer time.
Entry & documents
Indians do not need a visa for Nepal. Enter on a valid passport or Voter ID with no visa fee. The lower Mustang route to Muktinath does not require the restricted-area permit needed for Upper Mustang, and any applicable local permits are arranged in your package.
Best time to travel
March to April and October to November are the most reliable, with clearer skies and open roads. Winter brings snow and possible closures, while the monsoon can trigger landslides and flight cancellations on the mountain routes.
What we arrange
We handle transfers, mountain flights or road transport, accommodation, guides and pacing for acclimatisation. We arrange the journey and darshan, but we cannot guarantee weather, flight schedules or road conditions in this high-mountain region.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
