From the 30-minute callback to our private villa in Ubud, every little detail was handled. Our guide even arranged a surprise candle-lit dinner on the beach. Zero stress — pure magic.
Lakshadweep Beaches
Powder-white coral sand, palm shade and turquoise shallows on India's remotest isles.
Lakshadweep's beaches are made of fine, pale coral sand that stays cool underfoot and slopes into calm, luminous lagoons. Because tourist numbers are strictly limited and only a handful of islands are open, many stretches feel genuinely secluded — sometimes near-private. From Agatti and Bangaram to Thinnakara's sandbank, each island offers a different mood, whether you want easy swimming, dreamy sunsets or unspoilt photo backdrops. These are eco-sensitive shores, so a light footprint keeps them pristine.

Suggested itinerary
Land at Agatti and head to the beach for a first swim in the lagoon and a slow sunset walk.
Spend the day between sand and shallows, snorkelling the reef and relaxing under the palms.
Hop to Thinnakara or Bangaram for a quieter beach and near-private stretches of coral sand.
Explore a new shoreline, try a dhoni ride and settle in for the day's best sunset over the water.
A final barefoot morning on the sand before your boat transfer and flight back via Kochi.

White coral-sand beaches by island
Every open island has its own character. Agatti offers accessible, palm-lined beaches beside a brilliant lagoon; Bangaram and Thinnakara deliver quiet, resort-style sands and sandbanks; Kadmat backs onto a long swimming lagoon; and Kalpeni and Minicoy add coral-debris shores and lighthouse views for cruise visitors.
Best beaches for swimming
Thanks to the sheltering reef, the water off most beaches is calm and shallow, so swimming is safe and gentle. Kadmat and Agatti are especially good for long, unworried swims, while Bangaram's lagoon is perfect for a relaxed dip. Life jackets and guides are on hand where you want extra reassurance.
Best for sunsets & photos
West-facing shores glow at dusk, and the combination of pale sand, turquoise water and leaning palms is a photographer's dream. Bangaram and Thinnakara are magical at sunset, while Agatti's lagoon lights up in blues and golds — ideal for couples and keepsake photographs.
Seclusion & quiet
Because permits cap visitor numbers, many beaches feel remarkably empty. Thinnakara's sandbank and the quieter ends of Bangaram can feel almost private, a rare thing on Indian coastlines. If solitude is your priority, base yourself on the smaller resort islands.
Eco rules to respect
Lakshadweep's reefs and beaches are fragile and protected. Please help keep them pristine:
- Don't touch, stand on or remove coral, shells or sand
- Carry out all litter; avoid single-use plastics
- Use reef-safe sunscreen and don't feed marine life
- Remember most islands are dry — alcohol only on Bangaram

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
