Bangaram is Lakshadweep's most romantic escape: a small, uninhabited private resort island ringed by a shimmering lagoon and soft white sand. With no local settlement and only a handful of guests, it delivers a rare sense of seclusion, which is why it is such a honeymoon favourite. It is also the only island in Lakshadweep where alcohol is permitted, adding to its resort feel. Days here are for snorkelling, diving, wandering the sandbanks and doing gloriously little.
Fly Kochi to Agatti, then transfer by boat to Bangaram. Settle into your beachfront cottage and unwind beside the lagoon.
Explore the house reef by snorkel or dive, then relax on the sand. An afternoon sandbank visit adds a private touch.

With no local settlement, few guests and a lagoon all of its own, Bangaram offers the privacy honeymooners want. Beachfront cottages open onto soft sand, the water is calm and warm, and there is nothing to do but relax together. Add sandbank picnics and sunset boat rides and it becomes one of India's most romantic island stays.
Bangaram has no airport of its own. You fly Kochi to Agatti on small ATR flights, then transfer by boat or speedboat to Bangaram. Travellers from other cities connect through Kochi, as there are no direct flights elsewhere. We arrange the transfers as part of your package.
Accommodation is in the island's beachfront cottages, comfortable but understated in keeping with Lakshadweep's eco-sensitive ethos. Meals are typically included, and dining beside the lagoon is part of the charm. This is barefoot island living rather than a high-rise resort.
Bangaram is all about the water and quiet time.
An entry permit is mandatory for every visitor. Holiday Vibez assists with and arranges it as part of your package, subject to government approval, so apply 15 to 30 days ahead with ID proof, photographs and a police clearance certificate. Come between October and May for calm seas and clear water; the monsoon from June to September brings rough seas and suspended transfers.
