Lakshadweep Honeymoon Packages
Barefoot island romance on Bangaram and Thinnakara — turquoise lagoons, empty white sand, just the two of you.
For couples who want the honeymoon feeling without the crowds, few places match Lakshadweep. The resort islands of Bangaram and Thinnakara give you glass-clear lagoons, powder-soft beaches and the kind of quiet that big beach resorts simply can't buy. Days drift between snorkelling over living coral, lazy kayak paddles and long swims, while evenings are all sunset dhoni rides and dinner by the water. It is deliberately simple and eco-gentle — tents and cottages rather than glass towers — which is exactly what makes it so intimate.

Suggested itinerary
Fly Kochi to Agatti over the reef-fringed lagoons, then transfer by boat to your resort island. Settle in and unwind with an evening walk on the sand.
Spend the morning snorkelling and kayaking off the beach. Round off the day with a sunset dhoni ride and a private candle-lit dinner.
Try a beginner discover-scuba session or a glass-bottom boat ride over the coral. Afternoon is for hammocks, swims and doing pleasantly little.
Enjoy a last slow breakfast by the lagoon before your boat and flight back to Kochi, salt-in-your-hair and thoroughly relaxed.

Why Lakshadweep for your honeymoon
Lakshadweep is India's smallest Union Territory — 36 coral islands scattered in the Arabian Sea off Kerala — and only a handful are open to visitors. That scarcity is the whole point: on Bangaram and Thinnakara you get almost-private beaches, no traffic and no noise, just lagoon, reef and each other. It suits couples who prize quiet, nature and real seclusion over nightlife and shopping.
Where to stay
Honeymooners gravitate to two islands. Bangaram is a private resort island with cottages and the only place a sundowner is allowed. Thinnakara offers beach tents on a dreamy sandbank. Both are deliberately eco-simple — think comfortable, characterful and close to nature rather than five-star city luxury.
Entry permit — what to know
Every visitor needs an entry permit to Lakshadweep, and Indian nationals must arrange one before travelling. We assist with and arrange your permit as part of the package — subject to government approval — so please apply about 15–30 days ahead. You'll need ID proof, passport photos and a police clearance certificate. We can't guarantee or fast-track approvals, but we'll guide you through every step.
How to reach
All routes run through Kochi. Fly Kochi (COK) to Agatti (AGX) on the small ATR flights — seats are limited, so book early — then transfer by boat or speedboat to Bangaram or Thinnakara. Couples from Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi or Hyderabad simply connect via Kochi. There's also the option to sail from Kochi by ship.
Best time to visit
The sweet spot is October to May, when the sea is calm, the lagoons are glassy and the coral is at its clearest — December to April is peak. Avoid the June–September monsoon, when the sea turns rough and many boat services and island transfers are suspended.
Good to know
The islands are eco-sensitive and largely dry — alcohol is available only on Bangaram. Carry some cash, as cards and ATMs are limited, and a BSNL or postpaid SIM works best for signal. Pack reef-safe sunscreen, light cottons and your sense of unhurried romance.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
