The main dive bases are Agatti, Kadmat and Bangaram, each with established dive centres and easy access to the house reefs. Complete beginners can try a guided discover-scuba dive with no prior experience, while certified divers can log deeper reef and drift dives. A dedicated dive package pairs your accommodation with a set number of dives, equipment and expert supervision.
Fly Kochi to Agatti, transfer to your island and meet the dive centre for a briefing and equipment fitting. A gentle orientation snorkel eases you in.
Beginners take a supervised discover-scuba dive in the sheltered lagoon, while certified divers head to a nearby reef site with a guide.
A fuller day of diving over coral gardens and reef edges, with time between dives to relax on the beach and refuel.

If you have never dived before, a discover-scuba session is the perfect start: after a short briefing you dive in shallow, calm water with an instructor at your side, no certification required. Certified divers can log deeper reef and drift dives at the centres in Agatti, Kadmat and Bangaram. Whichever you choose, every dive is guided and safety-led.
A typical Lakshadweep dive package bundles your island accommodation with a set number of dives, tanks and weights, and supervision by the dive centre. Snorkelling gear and other lagoon activities are usually easy to add. Exact inclusions vary by island and by how many dives you book, so we confirm the details on your quote.
Lakshadweep's reefs are still remarkably healthy, with dense hard and soft corals, shoals of reef fish, moray eels, rays and turtles all common sightings. Visibility is often excellent in season, which makes the diving as rewarding for photographers as it is for first-timers. The islands are eco-sensitive, so all diving is low-impact and reef-friendly.
Dive season runs from October to May, with the calmest seas and clearest water from December to April. During the monsoon from June to September the sea is rough and most dive operations and island transfers are suspended, so plan your dive trip for the dry months.
You reach the dive islands by flying Kochi to Agatti, then transferring by boat to Kadmat or Bangaram as needed. An entry permit is mandatory for every visitor; Holiday Vibez assists with and arranges it as part of your package, subject to government approval, so please apply around 15 to 30 days ahead with ID proof, photographs and a police clearance certificate.
