High in Vietnam's far north, Sapa is a land of cascading rice terraces, misty peaks and colourful hill-tribe villages. Trek between H'mong and Dao hamlets through some of the country's most beautiful scenery, then ride the cable car towards Fansipan, Indochina's highest summit. The cool mountain air is a refreshing contrast to Vietnam's lowland heat. Our packages pair Sapa's trails with an easy connection from Hanoi.

Why visit Sapa

Sapa offers Vietnam's most dramatic mountain scenery and its richest hill-tribe culture. Whether you want a gentle valley walk or a longer trek, the terraced landscapes are unforgettable, and the cool climate is a welcome change of pace.

How to reach Sapa

Sapa is reached overland from Hanoi through the northern highlands. Fly into Hanoi's Noi Bai airport, which connects from India directly on some routes or with one stop, then continue by road. We handle the transfer.

Best time to visit

Sapa is best from October to April, though each season has its charm. September and October bring golden harvest terraces, while winter can be cold and misty with occasional frost at altitude.

Trekking & villages

Guided treks link villages such as Lao Chai, Ta Van and Cat Cat, home to H'mong and Dao communities. Routes range from easy half-days to full-day walks, and we match the trek to your fitness and interests.

Food & local flavours

Mountain cuisine features hearty thang co stews, grilled pork, bamboo-cooked rice and fresh salmon from local farms. Warm up with a bowl of noodles after a day on the trails.

Visa assistance

Indian passport holders need a Vietnam e-Visa, typically issued in 3–5 working days. Holiday Vibez assists with the application, subject to the authorities' approval.
