Guwahati is the gateway airport, connected by flights from across South India. Trailheads in Meghalaya and Nagaland are reached by road from there. Some areas require an Inner Line Permit for Indian travellers, which we arrange — it is a domestic permit, not a visa. Flights are extra to the land price.
October to April gives the safest, driest trails. Dzukou's famous flowers bloom mainly from June to September, so lily-season treks are planned carefully around the monsoon with weather in mind.
A reasonable fitness level handles most routes; Nongriat's steps are the toughest. Bring sturdy shoes, a light rain layer, water and a small daypack. Our guides set a comfortable pace and manage logistics throughout.
