The tour begins and ends at Guwahati, well connected by air from South India, with all onward travel by road in our vehicles. Distances are spread comfortably across the week. As southern flights add to the land price, we quote them separately and present one clear, combined estimate.
October to April is the prime window, with pleasant weather and open Kaziranga safaris (generally November to April). Spring adds blooming orchids and rhododendrons in the hills. We steer clear of the June to September monsoon, when heavy rain and flooding close the park and slow travel.
