The tour begins and ends at Guwahati, well connected by air from South India, with all transfers by road in our vehicles. Shillong lies a few hours south, and Kaziranga a few hours east along the Brahmaputra. As southern flights add to the land price, we present one combined, transparent estimate.
October to April is ideal, with pleasant weather and open Kaziranga safaris (generally November to April). The monsoon from June to September is very wet and floods the park, closing it to visitors, so we plan this route in the dry season.
