Everest Base Camp Trek Packages
The legendary Himalayan pilgrimage to the foot of the world's highest peak
The Everest Base Camp trek is one of the planet's great walks, following the Sherpa trails through the Khumbu valley to the glacier-bound base of Everest at 5,364m. It is a demanding, high-altitude journey of around 12 to 14 days that rewards fit, well-prepared trekkers with unmatched Himalayan scenery and Sherpa culture. Indian citizens need no visa for Nepal - a passport or Voter ID is enough. Holiday Vibez arranges experienced guides, careful acclimatisation and full trek logistics, though we cannot control mountain weather or guarantee summit views.

Overview
Everest Base Camp is a bucket-list Himalayan trek, but it is genuinely demanding. Expect long walking days, thin air above 5,000m and basic teahouse comforts. Reasonable fitness, prior hill-walking and a willingness to go slowly are essential. The reward is a life-changing walk through the highest mountains on Earth.
Trek Difficulty & Fitness
This is a strenuous, high-altitude trek. You should be comfortable walking 5-7 hours a day on uneven terrain for consecutive days. We build in dedicated acclimatisation days to reduce altitude risk, but altitude sickness can affect anyone. A prior fitness routine and, ideally, some trekking experience are strongly recommended.
How to Reach
Fly to Kathmandu (KTM) from South India via Delhi or Kolkata. The trek itself begins with a short, weather-dependent mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla flights are occasionally delayed by weather, so we advise buffer days.
Entry, Passport & Documents
Indian citizens do not need a visa for Nepal. Enter with a valid Indian passport or Voter ID card - there is no visa fee. Trekking permits such as the local Khumbu area permit and national park entry are arranged as part of your package.
Best Time & Weather
The prime seasons are October-November and March-April, offering the most stable weather and clearest views. Winter is bitterly cold and high passes may be snowbound; the monsoon brings cloud and disrupted flights. Even in peak season, Himalayan weather is unpredictable and we cannot guarantee clear skies or views.
What's Included
Guided treks typically include an experienced English-speaking guide and porters, teahouse accommodation on the trail, permits, Kathmandu hotel nights and the Lukla flights. International flights, travel insurance covering high altitude, personal gear and some meals are usually extra. We tailor the support level to your group.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
