Your biggest levers are accommodation, transfers and trip length. Guesthouses beat resorts, ferries beat seaplanes, and fewer nights mean a lower total. Booking flights early and travelling in the May–October value season can trim costs further.
May to October is wetter with short showers but offers the best value, while November to April is drier and pricier. Indian travellers enjoy visa-free entry with a free 30-day visa on arrival — no advance visa cost or paperwork.
