The whole country is coral, so reefs are everywhere — many just metres from your beach. Warm, clear water and gentle house-reef lagoons mean you can snorkel daily without a boat, while guided safaris open up channels and cleaning stations further out. It's ideal whether you've never worn a mask or you snorkel every holiday.
House-reef quality varies a lot between resorts, so this is the single most important choice. We steer snorkellers to islands with a healthy, accessible reef and, ideally, an easy entry point.
