A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, Kaziranga National Park shelters the world's largest population of the great one-horned rhinoceros. Across its tall grasslands and wetlands you may also spot wild elephants, swamp deer and, with luck, tigers. Most South Indian travellers fly into Guwahati and drive to the park, so flights add to the land price. The park is open roughly November to April, and we arrange your safaris and stays around the best game-viewing.
Meet at Guwahati airport and drive to Kaziranga, around five hours through Assam's countryside. Check in and relax.
Take an early elephant safari followed by a jeep safari through a different range, with strong chances of spotting rhinos and deer.

The park is best explored by safari:
Fly into Guwahati (GAU), the nearest major airport, then drive around five hours to the park. Most South Indian travellers fly in, so flights add to the land package price. We arrange comfortable private transfers.
Kaziranga is open roughly November to April, when the weather is dry and wildlife-viewing is at its best. The park closes during the monsoon due to flooding, so plan your safari for the open season.
Book safaris in advance, as permits and slots can fill quickly in peak months. Wear neutral colours, carry binoculars and a zoom camera, and follow your naturalist's guidance for the best and safest sightings.
