Planning your days well is the difference between a rushed trip and an unforgettable one. This sample 5-6 day Andaman itinerary balances Port Blair's history with the beaches of Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and the calm of Neil (Shaheed Dweep). We build in ferry timings, scuba slots and a little breathing room, then shape the final plan around your dates and pace.
Land at Veer Savarkar Airport (IXZ), settle in and unwind at Corbyn's Cove. End the evening at the Cellular Jail light-and-sound show.
Take a morning ferry to Swaraj Dweep. Spend the afternoon at Radhanagar Beach for sunset.
Snorkel or scuba at Elephant Beach, or try a discover-scuba dive. Relax at Kalapathar in the evening.
Ferry across to Shaheed Dweep. Visit Natural Bridge, Laxmanpur and Bharatpur at a gentle pace.

The winning formula is simple: one day for Port Blair either side, two to three days on Havelock, and a day on Neil. This keeps ferry transfers to a minimum and gives you unhurried beach time. If you have a seventh day, add Baratang's limestone caves or fly north to Diglipur.
Inter-island travel is by sea. Private cruises such as Makruzz and Nautika are faster and air-conditioned, while government ferries are cheaper. Seats sell out in peak season, so we book your ferries in advance and align them with your itinerary.
October to May brings calm seas and clear water, ideal for scuba and beach days; December and January are the peak. During the June-September monsoon, rough seas can occasionally cancel ferries, so we build in flexibility.
Indian nationals need no permit for the main tourist islands (Port Blair, Havelock, Neil). Only a few areas like Baratang's tribal reserve require a forest permit, which is arranged locally on the day. Foreign nationals simply register on arrival.
