For travellers who want the whole story, a north-to-south journey traces Vietnam from the karst bays of Halong to the floating markets of the Mekong. You'll move through Hanoi, central Da Nang and Hoi An, and on to Ho Chi Minh City, connecting the regions by quick internal flights. It's the definitive Vietnam route, showing how landscape, history and food shift as you go. Holiday Vibez plans the logistics, e-Visa help and stays so the whole arc flows.

How the regions change

Vietnam is long and wonderfully varied. The north is misty karsts and old-capital culture; the centre is beaches and heritage towns; the south is tropical energy, wartime history and the watery Mekong. Travelling top to bottom lets you feel each shift.

How to reach & get around

Enter at Hanoi (HAN) and leave from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), with internal flights linking the stops. Direct flights to Hanoi run from some Indian metros in 5–7 hours; other cities connect one-stop. Domestic hops keep the long distances painless.

Best time & weather

Since you cross all three climates, Nov–Apr generally works well, with the south dry and the north cool. We avoid the centre's typhoon-prone Sep–Nov window and fine-tune around your dates.

Who it suits

This route rewards travellers who want depth over relaxation, and who don't mind changing cities every couple of days. Allow at least a week, ideally more, so each region gets its due. We can stretch it to 10–12 days with Sapa, Hue or Phu Quoc.

Visa for Indians

A Vietnam e-Visa is required and usually takes 3–5 working days. We assist with the application; issuance and timing are decided by the authorities, so apply comfortably in advance.
