The nearest airport is Kochi (COK), around three to four hours by road; Kottayam is the nearest railway station, roughly two hours away. There's no rail link to Vagamon itself, so guests arrive by road, often combined with Thekkady or the backwaters. We arrange private transfers throughout.
September to March is ideal, with cool days, clear skies and meadows at their greenest after the rains — December and January are peak. The June to August monsoon makes the hills intensely lush and misty, atmospheric for those who enjoy dramatic, cloud-wrapped scenery.
