Fly into Colombo (CMB), with direct flights from many Indian metros of roughly one to three and a half hours. From the airport, your private car and driver take you straight to the coast.
For Bentota, Mirissa, Unawatuna and Galle, plan December to March. For Trincomalee and Nilaveli on the east coast, May to September brings the finest beach weather.
