Every stop feels otherworldly:
Spiti is reached overland via Shimla and Kinnaur year-round, or the Manali-Rohtang route when open in summer. There is no airport nearby, so it is a multi-day mountain drive. We plan the route and acclimatisation carefully.
Mid-May to early October is the main season, when passes and Chandratal are accessible. The Shimla-Kinnaur road stays open longer, while deep winter is extremely harsh. We tailor the route to the season.
