This tour is built around the region's most photogenic scenes: the living root bridges of Meghalaya, the glassy Umngot river at Dawki, and the rhinos and grasslands of Kaziranga. Between them lie waterfalls, misty hills, colourful markets and communities happy to share their world. Guwahati is the gateway, and flights from South India are added to the land cost.

Fly into Guwahati, well connected from South India, and we handle all road transfers through Meghalaya and on to Kaziranga. Distances involve winding hill roads, so we plan realistic drives with photo stops built in. Southern flights are quoted separately on top of the land cost.
October to April offers clear skies, comfortable weather and the best Kaziranga safaris (the park is generally open November to April). Post-monsoon, waterfalls still flow strongly while trails firm up. The heavy June to September monsoon brings dramatic clouds but tricky logistics and closed park gates.
Bring a versatile zoom plus a telephoto for wildlife, a wide lens for landscapes and rain protection year-round. A sturdy tripod helps with waterfalls and low light. Always seek consent before photographing people, and follow park rules and guide instructions on safari.
