The tour opens and closes at Guwahati, well linked by air from South India, with all onward travel by road in our vehicles. The route threads Meghalaya and Assam with sensible stages. Because flights from the south add to the land price, we combine them into one transparent estimate.
October to April is ideal, with pleasant weather and open Kaziranga safaris (generally November to April). Post-monsoon, the waterfalls remain full while roads dry out. We avoid scheduling Kaziranga in the June to September monsoon, when flooding closes the park.
