Beginning at Guwahati, you will explore Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki before heading to Kaziranga for a safari in search of the one-horned rhino. The tour begins and ends at Guwahati, well connected by air from South India, with all transfers by road in our vehicles. Kaziranga lies a few hours east of Guwahati along the Brahmaputra. As southern flights add to the land price, we present one combined, transparent estimate.
October to April is ideal, offering pleasant weather and, importantly, open Kaziranga safaris (the park generally runs November to April). The monsoon from June to September is very wet and floods the park, closing it to visitors, so we schedule this trip in the dry season.
Packages usually include hotels, daily breakfast, private transfers and sightseeing, and local assistance. Safari fees, boat rides, flights and personal expenses are typically extra. We tailor everything to your preferences and provide a clearly itemised quote before booking.
