From the 30-minute callback to our private villa in Ubud, every little detail was handled. Our guide even arranged a surprise candle-lit dinner on the beach. Zero stress — pure magic.
Maldives Liveaboard Cruises
Sleep aboard, wake at a new reef every morning
A liveaboard is the diver's way to see the Maldives — a comfortable cruise boat that becomes your floating hotel while it sails from atoll to atoll, delivering you to reefs a day-tripper could never reach. You'll dive several sites a day, chase mantas and whale sharks, sleep to the sound of the sea and wake somewhere new each morning. Some boats also run relaxed snorkelling or cruise itineraries for non-divers. Holiday Vibez arranges Maldives liveaboard cruises for Indian travellers, matching the boat, route and dive level to your experience, and handling flights and the port transfer at Malé.
Top things to see & do
Suggested itinerary
Land at Malé, collect your free arrival visa and transfer to the harbour to board your liveaboard. A welcome briefing and check dive as the boat sets off.
Three guided dives across reefs and channels, moving between sites as you sail. Log dives on the sundeck at dusk.
Drift dives through current-swept channels for sharks and eagle rays, plus a night dive. Cruise onward overnight.
A route toward South Ari for whale sharks and manta cleaning stations, seasonal and weather-permitting. Relax between dives.
A last no-fly-buffer dive or a lazy morning, then sail back to Malé to disembark for your flight.

Why choose a liveaboard
Liveaboards trade a fixed island for the whole atoll chain — you dive more sites, reach remoter reefs and follow the marine life rather than waiting for it. With three or four dives a day and no daily boat commute, it's the most dive-intensive way to experience the Maldives. It's built for divers who want quantity, variety and the best chance at big animals.
Routes & big-animal encounters
Itineraries are planned around the season and the atolls, often heading for South Ari and its whale sharks and mantas, or northern and central channels famous for sharks. Because the boat moves overnight, you dive fresh sites daily. We'll match the route to the encounters and conditions you're after, though wildlife is never assured.
Experience level & safety
Many liveaboard dives involve current and channel diving, so most boats ask for Advanced certification and a minimum number of logged dives. Bring your card and logbook. Boats carry a dedicated dive dhoni and follow strict schedules with a no-fly buffer before departure — we build that safety gap into your itinerary.
On board & for non-divers
Liveaboards range from comfortable to genuinely luxurious, with en-suite cabins, a sundeck, and full board — and yes, alcohol is available on board unlike on local islands. Some boats welcome snorkellers and non-divers with reef and cruise activities, so a mixed group can travel together. We'll find a boat that fits everyone.
Free visa on arrival
Indian travellers get a free 30-day visa on arrival at Malé, with no advance paperwork, the same for liveaboards as for resorts. A confirmed booking and return ticket, both included, are all you need.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
