KL and Langkawi sit on the west coast, driest from December to April — the best window for beach days and clear cable-car views. The route is enjoyable through much of the year, but this period is the most reliable.
Fly into Kuala Lumpur (KUL) from your home metro — direct flights take around 4.5–5.5 hours — then take a short domestic hop to Langkawi. KL's trains and Grab make city travel easy, while Langkawi is best seen by car or tour.
