Direct flights connect Leh with Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar, ideal for coordinating a group arrival. Adventurous parties can take the epic Manali–Leh or Srinagar–Leh road journeys, open roughly June to October.
May to September, when the roads and lakes are open and the weather is settled. Booking early in peak July and August secures the best vehicles and stays for larger groups.
