A Kedarnath and Badrinath tour covers two of the four sacred Dhams, offering a meaningful shorter pilgrimage for those with limited time. Kedarnath, a revered Jyotirlinga at around 3,580 metres, is reached by a demanding trek or helicopter, while Badrinath, the Vishnu shrine below Neelkanth peak, is accessible by road. Holiday Vibez arranges the Do Dham journey with comfortable stays, reliable transfers and an optional helicopter leg; we assist with logistics, but darshan timings and road and helicopter access remain subject to the authorities and mountain weather. The shrines are seasonal, open roughly May to October.
Arrive in Dehradun and drive through the Garhwal hills to Guptkashi or Sonprayag, gateway to the Kedarnath trek.
Trek from Gaurikund or fly by helicopter to Kedarnath for darshan, staying overnight near the shrine as arranged.
Return from Kedarnath and drive onward to a comfortable overnight halt on the route to Badrinath.
Travel to Badrinath for darshan of Lord Vishnu, bathe at Tapt Kund and visit the scenic Mana village.
Drive back through the mountains towards Rishikesh or Dehradun for your onward flight, pilgrimage complete.

The Kedarnath and Badrinath circuit is ideal for pilgrims seeking a shorter yet complete Himalayan darshan. It usually takes five to seven days and combines a demanding mountain shrine with an accessible riverside one. The helicopter option makes Kedarnath reachable for those who cannot manage the long trek.
Kedarnath sits at the end of a steep 16 km trek from Gaurikund.
Both shrines open around late April or May and close by around Diwali, so the tour runs roughly May to October. High-Himalaya weather is unpredictable, and rain can affect roads and helicopter flights. We plan sensible buffers, but we cannot control access or timings.
The nearest airport is Dehradun, from where the journey is entirely by mountain road to the trek and temple points. Rishikesh is a common starting base. Flights from South India are additional to the land package and best booked with some schedule flexibility.
Kedarnath's altitude and trek demand reasonable fitness and gradual acclimatisation. Light cardio beforehand, good hydration and warm clothing all help. Anyone with heart or breathing conditions should consult a doctor and consider the helicopter option.
