Fly to Srinagar (SXR) — direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, with one-stop links via Delhi from other cities. From Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam are reached by road. As domestic travel, Indian travellers need no visa or permit, and local travel is by car or taxi.
The prime snow season is December to February, when fresh snowfall blankets Gulmarg and the valleys. It is cold, so pack heavy winter layers, gloves, a warm hat and waterproof boots. Roads to some high areas can close during heavy snow, and we monitor conditions to keep your route practical.
