Hoi An is the most atmospheric town in Vietnam. The lantern-lit ancient quarter, world-class tailoring and nearby beaches make it a favourite for couples and families alike. It is compact, walkable and endlessly photogenic.
The nearest airport is Da Nang (DAD) in central Vietnam, around 45 minutes away by road. Da Nang connects to India via one-stop routings through regional hubs. We arrange your private transfer into town.
Central Vietnam is best from February to August, when beaches are dry and skies are clear. Avoid the peak typhoon and rain period from September to November, when flooding can occur.
Hoi An has its own culinary stars: cao lau noodles, white rose dumplings, banh mi and fresh river fish. A cooking class or market tour is a lovely way to dig deeper.
Hoi An is famous for bespoke tailoring. Choose fabrics, get measured and collect made-to-measure suits, dresses or shoes within a day or two. Order early in your stay to allow time for fittings.
