Reached by a comfortable ferry from Port Blair, Havelock rewards you with slow island days and vivid underwater colour. Indian travellers need no permit for Havelock, making it an easy, hassle-free getaway.
Fly into Veer Savarkar Airport, transfer to the jetty and cruise across to Swaraj Dweep. Settle in and unwind by the shore.

Havelock combines the archipelago's best beaches with its liveliest diving scene and a good spread of stays and cafes. Whether you want to laze at Radhanagar or descend to a coral reef, this is the island that delivers both.
Fly to Port Blair, then take a private cruise (such as Makruzz or Nautika) or a government ferry across to Havelock in roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Seats sell out in season, so we book your inter-island ferries in advance as part of the package.
Havelock's warm, clear water is ideal for first dives and certification courses. Beyond scuba you can try snorkelling, sea walking, glass-bottom boats and kayaking through bioluminescence on moonless nights.
Indian nationals need no permit for Havelock, Neil or Port Blair, so there is no paperwork to worry about. Foreign nationals simply register on arrival.
October to May brings calm seas and clear water, with December and January the peak. During the June to September monsoon, seas are rougher and ferries can occasionally be cancelled.
ATMs are limited on Havelock, so carry some cash. Mobile signal can be patchy, with BSNL and Airtel most reliable, and it is wise to pre-book scuba slots in season.
