Bhutan Tour Cost from India — Honest Breakdown
A transparent look at every rupee behind your Bhutan holiday
Wondering what a Bhutan trip actually costs? We break it down honestly so there are no surprises. Your final price is built from four things — hotel category, travel season, flights to Paro, and the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) that every Indian visitor pays per night. Our land packages start from around Rs 34,999 per person on twin-sharing, and we quote the SDF and permit clearly rather than hiding them.

What makes up your Bhutan tour cost
Every Bhutan quote is built from a few clear pieces: your land package (hotels, meals, private car, guide and sightseeing), the Sustainable Development Fee charged per person per night, the entry permit we arrange, and your flights or overland transfer to Bhutan. We show these separately so you know exactly where your money goes.
Understanding the SDF and permit
Indian nationals do not pay a traditional visa fee. Instead you pay the government's Sustainable Development Fee — currently about Rs 1,200 per person per night, subject to change — with children discounted and under-6s exempt. Alongside this you need an entry permit, which Holiday Vibez organises for you as part of the package.
Land package price tiers
Our indicative land prices, per person on twin-sharing, are:
- 4 nights / 5 days from around Rs 34,999
- 5 nights / 6 days from around Rs 39,999
- 6 nights / 7 days from around Rs 44,999
- 7 nights / 8 days from around Rs 49,999
These cover the land arrangements; SDF nights and flights are quoted on top.
How to reach Bhutan
Most travellers fly into Paro (PBH), usually with one or two connections via Kolkata, Delhi or Bagdogra. Alternatively you can travel overland and enter via Phuentsholing on the West Bengal border. We help you weigh cost against convenience.
Best time and how it affects price
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) bring clear skies, rhododendrons and festivals — and peak pricing. Summer is lush and quieter, while winter is crisp and excellent value. Choosing a shoulder month can meaningfully lower your total.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Best price I found anywhere, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
