Package overview

This compact five-day itinerary covers Bhutan's two headline valleys, Paro and Thimphu, and the legendary Tiger's Nest hike. It is designed for travellers who want the highlights comfortably without a long trip.

The Tiger's Nest hike

The climb to Taktsang is a rewarding half-day walk gaining around 900 metres, on well-trodden trails. Ponies are available for the lower stretch, and we pace it to suit your group; reasonable fitness helps.

How to reach

Most travellers fly into Paro (PBH) on Drukair or Bhutan Airlines from hubs such as Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati and Bagdogra, or arrive overland via Phuentsholing. From South India, a connection through one of these gateways is usual.

Entry permit and documents

Indian nationals do not need a visa. You travel on an Entry Permit plus the Sustainable Development Fee, currently ₹1,200 per person per night (subject to change; children discounted, under-6 exempt), carrying a passport or Voter ID. The SDF applies for each night of your stay. Holiday Vibez arranges the entry permit.

Pricing

Land packages start from around ₹34,999 per person on twin-sharing. Your final quote varies with chosen hotels, travel season, flights and the number of SDF nights.
