Summer: March to June

This is the peak season, with warm days, cool evenings and clear valley views across the hill stations. It is ideal for Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala and adventure sports like paragliding and rafting. Book early, as this is the busiest and most popular time.

Winter: December to February

Winter transforms Himachal into a snowy wonderland, perfect for snowfall at Shimla, Kufri, Manali and Solang. Days are crisp and cold, so pack heavy woollens and expect some higher roads to close. It is the best window for skiing and snow play.

Monsoon: July to September

Monsoon paints the valleys a vivid green and thins the crowds, but brings rain and occasional landslides on hill roads. Lower towns like Dharamshala and Palampur can be atmospheric, while high routes may be tricky. We plan flexible itineraries during these months.

High-altitude season: Spiti & Lahaul

Remote regions like Spiti and Lahaul are best from June to September, once the high passes clear of snow. This is the only reliable window for the Manali-Spiti circuit and Chandratal. Outside these months, access is limited or closed.

How to reach & plan

Most trips start at Shimla via Chandigarh or Manali via Kullu-Bhuntar airport, with overnight Volvo coaches from Delhi a popular option. Whatever season you choose, we tailor the route and hotels to the weather. Our team is reachable Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
