Bali's jungle interior hides some of Asia's most beautiful waterfalls — from the multi-tiered grandeur of Sekumpul, often called the island's finest, to the easy-to-reach curtain of Tegenungan near Ubud. Add the serene jungle pool of Tibumana and the towering plunge of Nungnung, and you have a day of cool green magic away from the beaches. Some are a quick walk, others a proper trek through the rainforest, so we tailor the mix to your energy and interests. Holiday Vibez plans a smooth, guided waterfall adventure for Indian travellers.

Easy falls vs. proper treks

Bali's waterfalls range widely in effort:

  • Easy access — Tegenungan and Kanto Lampo, just a short walk from the car park.
  • Moderate — Nungnung, a steep staircase down and back up.
  • Adventure — Sekumpul, a jungle trek with river crossings.

We tailor the day so it matches your fitness and appetite for a hike.

What to bring

Wear grippy footwear as paths can be slippery, and bring swimwear, a towel and a dry bag for your phone. Many falls have small entrance fees paid locally, and your guide handles the logistics so you can focus on the scenery.

How to reach the waterfalls

Fly into Denpasar (DPS), usually a 7–9 hour trip with one stop via a South-East Asian hub. Most waterfalls cluster around Ubud and the central highlands, so we base you there and arrange private transfers to each cascade.

Best time & weather

Waterfalls flow strongly year-round, but the April to October dry season means safer trails and clearer pools. In the wetter months the falls are at their most powerful, though trails can be muddy and some may close briefly after heavy rain.
