Aru Valley offers the tranquillity that busier resorts can lack — wide meadows, a clear river and a real sense of the high Himalaya, yet within easy reach of Pahalgam. It suits nature lovers, photographers and gentle trekkers. As a domestic destination, it needs no visa or permit for Indian travellers.

Aru pairs naturally with the other Pahalgam-area highlights — Betaab Valley for its cinematic meadows, the Lidder river through Pahalgam town, and the higher road-head at Chandanwari.
Fly to Srinagar (SXR) — direct from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, or one stop via Delhi — then drive to Pahalgam and on to Aru Valley. The last stretch is often by local vehicle, arranged within your package.
March to October is best, with green summer meadows and clear trekking conditions; snow can linger into spring. Deep winter limits access to the higher valley, so we plan the standard, well-travelled circuits and keep watch on conditions.
