This route stays entirely in the north, linking Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh by comfortable road. That means no early-morning internal flights, just scenic drives between three very different landscapes: a historic capital, an island-studded sea and a valley of rice and rock.
You'll fly into and out of Hanoi (HAN). Direct flights run from some Indian metros in around 5–7 hours, with one-stop options elsewhere. We'll align arrival and departure with the cruise schedule.
Aim for October to April for cool, dry days across the north. Halong and Ninh Binh are loveliest under clear skies, though a light winter mist can add drama. We'll advise on your specific dates.
The north is pho country, plus Hanoi's smoky bun cha and the city's famous egg coffee. In Ninh Binh, look out for goat meat and crispy rice, a regional speciality. We can build a guided street-food walk into your Hanoi days.
An e-Visa is required for Indian passport holders and usually takes 3–5 working days. We assist with the paperwork; the final decision sits with the Vietnamese authorities, so apply in good time.
