Uttarakhand offers two distinct camping moods.
Our tented stays are comfortable, not roughing it, with proper mattresses, bedding, clean washrooms and freshly cooked meals. Bonfires, activities and guides are included, so you enjoy the outdoors with genuine comfort and care.
Riverside camping in Rishikesh is best from September to June, with rafting suspended during the July-August monsoon. Chopta's alpine camps are lovely from spring to early winter, turning snowy and magical in the colder months for those well prepared.
Dehradun is the nearest airport for both regions, with Rishikesh about an hour away and Chopta a longer scenic mountain drive. Haridwar is the closest major railhead. Flights from South India are additional to your camping package.
Bring layered clothing as nights turn cool even in summer, along with sturdy shoes, a torch, sunscreen and any personal medicines. For alpine camps add warm jackets and gloves, since mountain temperatures drop sharply after dark.
