Few destinations offer this much romance in one compact island: tea-covered hills, quiet beaches, ancient temples and wildlife, all within a few hours' drive. It is superb value, close to India and easy to tailor to a relaxed, private pace.
We usually pair the cool hill country with a beach finale so you get both cosy mornings and sunny days by the sea. A typical honeymoon flows from Kandy up into the tea hills, then down to Bentota, Mirissa or Galle on the coast.
Fly into Colombo (CMB), with direct flights from many Indian metros taking roughly one to three and a half hours. From the airport your private car and driver take over for the whole tour.
The west and south coasts plus the hill country are at their best from December to March, ideal for Colombo, Bentota, Mirissa, Galle, Kandy, Ella and Nuwara Eliya. If you prefer the east coast around Trincomalee, plan for May to September instead.

Sri Lanka drives on the left, so a private car and driver is the easiest way to tour. Dress modestly at temples and remove shoes and hats, stick to bottled water, and leave room for tea, rice and curry and fresh seafood.
