Magnetic Hill lies about 30 kilometres from Leh on the road towards Kargil, an easy half-day drive that pairs naturally with the wider circuit. Being close to town and not too high, it is an ideal outing for your acclimatisation days. We provide a comfortable private vehicle and driver.
The Sham valley is accessible for much of the year but at its greenest and most pleasant from May to September. Days are bright and mild while nights stay cool. This is one of the lower, gentler Ladakh drives, making it comfortable early in a trip.
