Land at Srinagar (SXR) and transfer to your hotel or houseboat. Spend the afternoon on a relaxing shikara ride across Dal Lake, then explore the Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar before an evening at leisure.
Drive up to Gulmarg through apple orchards and pine slopes. Ride the gondola cable car for panoramic meadow and mountain views, and, in season, enjoy the snow. Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Head to Pahalgam along the saffron fields of Pampore. Visit Betaab Valley and Aru Valley, walk beside the Lidder river and soak in the alpine calm before returning to Srinagar.
A final morning for Chashme Shahi, Hazratbal or last-minute shopping for Kashmiri crafts, before your transfer to the airport for onward flights.

No trip to Srinagar is complete without Dal Lake. You can stay aboard a traditional cedar-wood houseboat or a lakeside hotel, and either way a shikara ride at dawn or dusk is unforgettable.
Fly into Srinagar (SXR), with direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru; from most South-Indian cities you will usually connect once through Delhi. All local sightseeing is by private car or taxi, arranged as part of your package.
March to October is glorious — tulips in early April, green summer meadows and golden chinar leaves by late October. December to February brings snow and skiing at Gulmarg. Pack warm layers year-round, as the higher meadows stay cool even in summer.
