Direct flights run from some Indian metros, notably Delhi and Mumbai, on carriers such as Vietnam Airlines and VietJet, taking around 5–7 hours. From other cities you'll connect one-stop through a regional hub. We won't quote fares here, as they vary, but we'll find timings that fit your itinerary.
Vietnam has three main international airports: Hanoi (HAN) in the north, Da Nang (DAD) in the centre and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) in the south. Choosing where to fly in and out of depends on your route; for a north-to-south trip we often fly you into Hanoi and out of Ho Chi Minh City.
Internal flights are frequent and quick, ideal for linking distant regions. Shorter distances, like Hanoi to Halong or Ninh Binh, are covered by comfortable road transfers on modern expressways. Within cities, metered taxis and ride-hailing apps are easy and inexpensive.
Remember that Indian travellers need a Vietnam e-Visa, usually issued in 3–5 working days, before departure. We assist with the application, but issuance rests with the authorities, so apply in good time to keep your travel plans on track.
Carry a printed copy of your approved e-Visa, keep some Vietnamese dong for taxis and snacks, and cross those famously busy roads slowly and steadily. We'll have a driver ready for your airport transfers so arrivals are stress-free.
