November to February brings calm seas and clear skies, the safest and most enjoyable window for water sports. Mornings are best as the water is calmest. Activities usually pause during the monsoon for safety.
Always ride with licensed operators who provide life jackets, and follow the instructor's briefing. Non-swimmers can still enjoy most activities with a life vest. Keep valuables ashore and protect phones and cameras from the spray.
