Dubai Dhow Cruise Dinner: Marina & Creek by Night
Glide past the lit-up Marina skyline over a buffet dinner and live entertainment.
A dhow cruise dinner is the calm, romantic side of Dubai after a day of malls and desert dunes. You board a traditional wooden dhow, settle onto the open-air deck, and drift for around two hours while the city lights double in the water. Dinner is a laid-back buffet, there's usually a tanoura dancer or live music, and the skyline slides past on both sides. Indian travellers love that it suits every group, honeymooners, parents, and kids alike. There are two very different routes: the glossy modern Marina and the old-world Dubai Creek. Tell us your dates and we'll fold the right one into your Dubai holiday.

Marina vs Creek: which dhow cruise suits you
The two routes give completely different moods. The Dubai Marina cruise glides past illuminated towers, luxury yachts and the twinkling Ain Dubai wheel, sleek, modern and great for photos. The Dubai Creek cruise is slower and nostalgic, passing old souks and heritage buildings that show the city's trading roots. Honeymoon couples usually pick Marina for the glamour, while families enjoy the gentle Creek. Both run roughly two hours in the evening. We can slot either into your wider Dubai tour packages so the cruise, transfers and sightseeing all line up neatly.
What's on board: buffet, veg food and entertainment
Dinner is an open buffet, typically a mix of Continental, Arabic and Indian dishes, plus salads, grills and dessert. This is a big relief for Indian groups: vegetarian and Jain meals can usually be arranged if you tell us in advance, and most cruises are alcohol-free family setups. Entertainment often includes a tanoura spinning dancer and soft live music while you eat on the open deck. Air-conditioned lower seating is available if the evening feels warm. Pair it with an evening desert safari earlier in your trip for the full Dubai contrast, dunes by day, skyline by night.
Fitting the dhow cruise into your Dubai holiday
A dhow dinner works best as a relaxed evening between busier days at Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Palm Jumeirah. It's an easy add-on for honeymooners and families alike, and pick-up from many Dubai hotels can be arranged. Costs depend on the route, seating tier and season, so rather than quote a fixed figure, share your dates and group size for a transparent, itemised price. Evenings are pleasant most of the year; check our best time to travel guide to plan around Dubai's cooler months for the most comfortable open-deck experience.

Real stories from real journeys
Thousands of families and couples across South India have travelled with us — here's what a few of them had to say.
Travelling with my parents and two kids, I was nervous. Holiday Vibez planned every single day perfectly, and the Alleppey houseboat was the highlight. We are already planning our next trip with them.
Great value for the money, and the desert safari and Burj Khalifa tickets were all sorted before we even landed. The team was on WhatsApp whenever I had a question.
The Gulmarg gondola, the shikara ride on Dal Lake — exactly like the photos, no surprises at all. By the end of the trip our driver felt like family.
Booked a fairly last-minute Phuket trip and they still got me a great deal with visa help included. Honest, smooth and genuinely helpful people.
Scuba at Havelock was a dream come true. Every transfer and every hotel was exactly as promised. Worth every rupee, and I have already recommended them to friends.
