The journey commonly begins in Jaipur and ends in Udaipur, both served by airports and good rail links. The long desert legs to and from Jaisalmer are covered by comfortable private transfers, and rail is an option on some sectors. We arrange all internal travel.
Aim for October to March, when the days are pleasant and desert nights are crisp and clear, perfect for dune evenings. Summer heat is intense in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, so the cooler season is strongly recommended.
