Is 3 nights enough for the Maldives?

Three nights is a genuinely rewarding first taste — plenty for a house-reef snorkel, a sandbank picnic and a sunset cruise. To keep every hour on the island, we usually recommend a resort reached by a quick speedboat rather than a distant seaplane atoll. If you have a little more leave, our 4 or 5 night packages let you add diving and excursions at a gentler pace.

How you reach the island

You fly to Malé (MLE), with direct flights from several Indian metros — roughly 1.5–3 hours from the southern cities and 3–4.5 hours from Delhi or Mumbai. From Malé you reach the resort by speedboat for nearby islands or by seaplane or domestic flight for the far atolls. This transfer is a real cost and time factor, and we arrange it with your package.

Visa — free on arrival

The Maldives is visa-free for Indians: a free 30-day visa is stamped on arrival, so there is nothing to apply for in advance. Just carry a passport valid for six months, a confirmed hotel booking and a return ticket.
