Air is the fastest way in. Jaipur is the primary airport with wide domestic connectivity and some international links, while Udaipur and Jodhpur serve the south and west. Flying into one city and out of another is a smart way to cover the state without retracing your route, and we plan itineraries around this.
Rajasthan's rail network is excellent, with Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer and other stations connected to Delhi, Mumbai and major cities. Trains are comfortable and scenic, and for a special experience the heritage Palace on Wheels offers a curated journey between the fort cities.
Well-maintained national highways link Rajasthan with Delhi, Gujarat and neighbouring states, making road travel a comfortable option. Jaipur is roughly a half-day drive from Delhi. Within the state, private air-conditioned vehicles are the easiest way to move between cities at your own pace.
