Reaching Rajasthan by Air

Air is the fastest way in. Jaipur is the primary airport with wide domestic connectivity and some international links, while Udaipur and Jodhpur serve the south and west. Flying into one city and out of another is a smart way to cover the state without retracing your route, and we plan itineraries around this.

Reaching Rajasthan by Train

Rajasthan's rail network is excellent, with Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer and other stations connected to Delhi, Mumbai and major cities. Trains are comfortable and scenic, and for a special experience the heritage Palace on Wheels offers a curated journey between the fort cities.

Reaching Rajasthan by Road

Well-maintained national highways link Rajasthan with Delhi, Gujarat and neighbouring states, making road travel a comfortable option. Jaipur is roughly a half-day drive from Delhi. Within the state, private air-conditioned vehicles are the easiest way to move between cities at your own pace.

Getting Around Within Rajasthan

Once you arrive, distances between the major cities are covered by:

  • Comfortable private car transfers, included in most tours
  • Trains on popular sectors such as Jaipur to Jodhpur
  • Short flights between distant cities to save time

We arrange all internal travel as part of your package.

Practical Travel Tips

Book flights and trains early during the October to March peak season, when demand is high. Allow buffer time for the long desert legs to Jaisalmer, and consider open-jaw flights to avoid backtracking. As a domestic destination, no visa is required for Indian travellers, keeping planning simple.
